Pale Crossing

The Pale Crossing is an enormously long bridge spanning the width of the Sunlit Gorge, crossing the gap between its eastern and western edges. This bridge, built in tandem with the inception of its personal guard, the Stalwart Edge, were established to facilitate easier travel between the eastern and western sides of the valley. The guard extracts a toll from travelers using the bridge, who often take advantage of the settlement's stone walls to stay the night at the Haggard Hope on the western end of the bridge. The premise of the bridge itself is a dramatic scene for your players to imagine and a potentially potent location for an encounter to occur.
